CPI Security recognized the Steele Creek Fire Department with the CPI Security Community Impact Award.
The award honors first responders for going above and beyond their already extraordinary work in our communities.
“Anytime you can recognize people in public service, that’s a good thing,” Steele Creek Fire Department Chief Chris Hardin said.
Their dedication to the job and the dangers of their work was spotlighted when they recently responded to a fully engulfed house fire in which three firefighters were temporarily trapped when an exterior wall collapsed on them. Thankfully, all of them made it out safely.
